What is Breast Cancer?

Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow out of control. It can develop in different parts of the breast and vary in type, stage, and aggressiveness. When detected early, breast cancer is highly treatable. Our goal is to provide accurate diagnosis, individualized treatment, and compassionate support throughout your journey.

Breast cancer may not always cause symptoms, especially early on. However, possible signs include:

Signs & Symptoms

  • A lump or thickening in the breast or underarm

  • Changes in breast size or shape

  • Skin changes ( redness, dimpling, or puckering)

  • Nipple changes ( inversion, discharge, or scaling)

  • Persistent breast pain

  • Any new or unusual changes

Evaluation & Diagnosis

We use advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to accurately evaluate breast changes, including:

  • Clinical breast exams

  • 3D Mammography

  • Breast Ultrasound

  • Breast MRI ( when indicated)

  • Image-guided Breast Biopsy

  • Pathology review and staging

Treatment is personalized based on your specific diagnosis, stage, and goals. Options may include:

Treatment Options

  • Breast -conserving surgery ( lumpectomy)

  • Mastectomy ( including nipple sparing options)

  • Sentinel lymph node biopsy

  • Axillary lymph node dissection (when needed)

  • Oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction

  • Coordination with medical oncology, radiation oncology and plastic surgery ( when needed)
